A bold and dynamic variety of jasper distinguished by its fragmented appearance, where angular sections of stone have been naturally broken and later re-cemented by silica-rich minerals over millions of years. The resulting mosaic of contrasting colours and textures creates a striking visual composition unique to each specimen. Material from East Indonesia is particularly admired for its rich earthy palette, intricate natural patterning, and exceptional polish, making it highly desirable for collectors and decorative display.

• Composition: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) with iron oxide and other mineral inclusions
• Formation: Brecciation through geological fracturing followed by silica-rich mineral cementation
• Hardness: ~6.5–7 (Mohs scale)
• Structure: Brecciated, composed of angular fragments naturally fused within a chalcedony matrix
